How to get ventrilo!!

Ok InExilEes, you need to have ventrilo to at least be able to listen in even if you dont have a mike during guild meetings, FBs, TTs and especially TWs.
So here's how to get set up in ventrilo.

First step is to download ventrilo from www.ventrilo.com

Once that is done you need the following info to do the set up:

Username : remember to use your in-game name
IP/Host name : v36.darkstarllc.com
Port number : 4067
Password : 123

this password will let u go into the inexile room .. however.. this server list is .. LONG!
so.. what we will do is have the RK admin give u ur personal password (that u only type in once cuz it saves) that will automatically put u into the IE room =)



Remember the same rules and guidelines apply when in vent guys, so let's try to be civil and keep it PG-13

ok so i figured it out ..... but still "i dont have rights" to do anything

yea thats normal, jus have to wait for our leader to confirm you and give u a password. then u can enter the factions chat room :)

is the Ip/ Host name the server name??

server names whatever u want it to be, jus somethin u remember well.
like InExilE.

i finally got my ventrilo to work ... i think u can finally hear my beautiful voice now! =)

the server name and the ip address are the same as each other...

out of curiosity, who all has the ability to give someone channel permissions? i've been sitting in the ventrilo lobby for about five hours and still am "not allowed to switch channels manually".. ^^;

..of course it's been years since i've used ventrilo and i could totally just be doing it wrong. :D

no ur not... i think etchi has the power to do that and pongo... but idk who else... if they are on just ask them right there and then... and BAM!! on ur in vent channel =)

ahh, thanks. good to know i'm not completely crazy, lol. XD

though there's not too much of a hurry.. i need to tweak it a bit more for my terrible bandwidth. ^^;

i did it now im just chillin in the guest room thing so yea

ok the next time ur just chillin in the guest room ... try to contact "Jaded" in the game. if she isnt on .. then u will have to wait... however she is very active so u will catch her the next day or within a couple hours k =)
